Factors that Influence Postoperative Vomiting

The factors reported in the literature to influence the incident of postoperative nausea and vomiting have been reviewed in relation to the patient, the anesthetic, the operation, and the postoperative period where applicable, these reported factors have been compared with the author's observation made during the course of a comparative trial of anti-emetic agents
