A simple anaesthetic technique has been described for use in cardiac catheterization and angiocardiography in cliildren and infants. Halothane has been employed with nitrous oxide and air alternating as the carrier gas. The absence of premedication, airways, and endotracheal tubes allows a light general anaesthetic with fast recovery and minimal systemic disturbance.
