The Use of the Cuirass Respirator during Laryngoscopy and Bronchoscopy under General Anaesthesia

A method of performing laryngoscopies and bronchoscopies with thiopentone, succinylcholine and a cuirass respirator is described. Our experiences with two hundred cases are summarized. Some advantages and disadvantages of the technique are outlined.
