Affiliation and Disclosure Statement

Currently, Dr Miller is Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Journal of Anesthesia.  Prior to his appointment as Editor-in-Chief in January 2005, Dr Miller’s research interests focused upon the clinical pharmacology of anesthetic drugs.  He has a particular clinical interest in the perioperative care of patients undergoing major vascular surgery.

Competing Interests:  Prior to 2000, Dr Miller received several research grants from pharmaceutical companies to fund his clinical research.  Since 2000, Dr Miller has not accepted honoraria or research grants from any pharmaceutical manufacturer or any other anesthesia-related company.  Dr Miller does not accept gifts from, nor does he hold an equity position in any such company.
